Entry#4: Favorite Movie.

"Home Alone"

My favorite movie is "Home Alone," I love funny and scary movies. "Home Alone" is a funny christmas movie. It is a very creative, and funny christmas movie. It shows how disordered and laughable Christmas and family can actually be, from the sweet scene to the smart young child who is accidently forgotten at home while the rest of the family goes to Paris. Even the title brings back memories of how dangerous it could be to be left alone as a child at home. Despite the fact that being forgotten might seem like the worst thing ever, the very smart kid that was left would gain much from it as well.

The movie has a lot of wonderful, beautiful, and funny moments. One of these is when Kevin is singing the Christmas classic into his own microphone-shaped hair brush while he stands in the mirror right after taking a shower.

However, we have to teach children to protect themselves so they can stay away from strangers and keep private information.  The second lesson is that what matters most is family. Our families are the places where we are born and learn how to be humane beings. Kevin said at the start of the movie that he hated everyone and that he wanted his family disappeared, but after being alone, he came to see how much he needed them.

Nobody likes to spend Christmas Day alone, as Kevin stated to the old man. The third lesson is that it's always vital to forgive. In the movie, Kevin's mother forgives Kelvin for his rude actions, and Kevin forgives his parents for leaving him alone.
